Screen Capture Function

Remote TestKit offers several methods for capturing screenshots from a rented device.

Client software version

Capturing the entire device

  1. Adjust the size of the window you want to copy to the clipboard
  2. Select the [Edit -> Copy entire device as image] menu item
  3. Choose the application you want to paste into, or selectthe name of the application, and the copied image will be pasted in.

Display-only Capture

* This function is available in the Web browser version.

  1. Adjust the size of the window you want to copy to the clipboard
  2. Select the [Edit -> Copy device display as image] menu item
  3. Switch to the application you want to paste into, or selectthe name of the application, and the copied image will bepasted in.

Save screenshot as jpg

The current screen can be captured as an image file. As above, choose from display-only capture or entire device capture.

  1. Adjust the window size as require.
  2. Tap on Capture Entire Device.
  3. Capture Entire Device generates an image of the device and screen display, while Capture Display Only generates an image of the screen display only.

  4. Specify a filename and destination to save the image.

Paste screenshot via drag and drop

Drag and drop can be used to paste a screenshot of the current screen into a Microsoft Office document (Word, Excel or PowerPoint).

  1. Hold down the Ctrl key and select the device display. Choose Entire Device to generate an image of the display as part of the device, or Display Only to limit the image to the display only.
  2. Without releasing the Ctrl key, drag the selected image and drop it directly into your document.

You can capture screenshots showing only the device display.
When the screen you want to capture is displayed, click Download to take a screenshot.
