Introducing Audio Testing and Android L devices
Thank you for being a Remote TestKit customer. We have just released “Audio Testing” function in Remote TestKit, and also, added devices installed Android L in our device list.
(1) Audio testing function What is audio testing?
Cloud-based testing service for smartphone apps and websites usually provide only a function which tests behavior of the screen. Now, NTT Resonant offers an audio testing function with smooth streaming audio, in addition to current unique high-speed image transfer.
With this function, customers can check the sound of music, video, and game apps/websites with audio output from a smartphone screen on their PC displays. Since this feature enables to play audio as smoothly and speedily as the actual smartphones, it makes far easier to test those kind of apps/websites.
This feature is included in basic functions of Remote TestKit, so customers can use it without extra cost. Also, same as the existing service, the audio testing service can be used for multiple handsets simultaneously.
Applicable devices
Audio Testing function is applicable to about 100 Japanese models and 10 U.S. models, such as iPhone, Xperia, etc., including the latest ones. We will make 200 devices applicable by the end of 2014.

*This audio testing function can be used with every fee plan.
*This function is available as a client software version. We are planning to provide it with a browser version soon.
(2) Android L devices
We have just added Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 (2013) installed Android L, the latest version of Android OS under developer preview. Please check them out.
