Features of Remote Testkit
Remote TestKit provides two UI options to access cloud hosted devices for mobile app testing. Web browser version is the best fit for quick manual testing. Client software version offers advanced features including seamless connectivity to other testing tools and IDEs. We recommend that you use the client software version when you link to developer tools or use automatic tests. We also offer an Enterprise version. Please contact us for details.
|DEVICE OPERATION FEATURES.|
|Touch entry||Use the mouse for touch operations in the device window. With Windows 8, you can even use the touch screen to simulate touch operations on the device.|
|Using the keyboard to enter text||Use your computer keyboard to enter text such as complex URL addresses.|
|Screen rotation||Remote TestKit supports screen rotation. Where an app is designed to operate in landscape mode, the screen will rotate automatically.|
|Remote operation of physical buttons on the device||With Remote TestKit, you can remotely operate physical buttons such as Home and Back as well as volume keys on the real device.|
|Voice recognition||Voice input and output is supported. A microphone is required for voice input.|
|Pinch-in and Pinch-out||Press Alt while using the mouse to simulate pinch-in and pinch-out actions.|
|Installing apps（Android / iOS）||Remote TestKit allows you to install apk and ipa files from your computer (local environment). For iOS installs, you must register the device UDID on the Devices page at iOS Dev Center and generate an ipa file. Device UDIDs are available in the public domain. The software version allows batch deletion of apps.|
|Using your Google or Apple ID||Use your existing Google ID or Apple ID to install apps from Google Play or Apple Store. Your ID and password will be automatically deleted after returning device.|
|Installing an app on multiple devices at the same time||You can operate all rented devices simultaneously and install the same app all at once. There is no need to take the time to install an app on one device at a time. This also leads to a significant reduction in testing time.|
|USING WEB BROWSERS|
|Using Web browsers||Open URL can be used to open any URL in the web browser. There is no need to enter the URL in the device itself; simply copy and paste from your computer.|
|Automatically capture screens from the specified device||By just specifying a URL, you can automatically see the applicable URL and capture the screen. This enables you to easily check the design layout and display of advertisements by just looking at the captured image without having to start the browser and test yourself.|
|Various Automation Testing Tools||You can link to various automation tools. You can also use the automation tools you normally use as is with Remote TestKit.

|Capturing an image of the screen or the device||Capture the screen display only, or the entire device including the screen.|
|Recording screen actions||Create movie clips of screen actions in avi file format.|
|Language||Change languages using the device language settings. (Note: Limited to languages available on the device.)|
|GPS||Enables GPS testing through entry of dummy latitudes and longitudes.|
|Initialization||Devices are automatically initialized at the end of the rental period. There is also an option to re-initialize the device at any time during the rental period.|

|Real-time clipboard synchronization||Data is transferred between the clipboard of the Android device and the clipboard of the client, enabling pasting of characters copied on the client onto the Android device, and vice versa.|
